1979 in Norrköping, based in Stockholm, Sweden.
I compose polyphonic narratives through repetitions and additions of vocals: others’ stories and media's news, scientific researchers reports and my own experiences are disaggregated, mixed and re-assembled into solid facts, melodious testimonies and resonant enquiry. I make music, though my pieces activate several senses; I work spatial withsound, images and tactile objects, often interwoven into interactive installations.
The spaces I create invoke physical experiences of symphony and form a thematic landscape one can enter or become part of.
Investigating constructions of manifold and equality, norm-critical approaches and including behaviours, I face up to internalisation and challenge established ideas on the formation of identity and belonging, social taboos and exclusion.
I am a member of the artist run gallery Studio 44 and one of the artists and composers using EMS (electronmusikstudion) during the process of making my art. Alongside my art practice I give lectures and workshops, work as a freelance illustrator at ELKE illustration and exhibition guide at Bonniers Konsthall.
